Teachers and secondary school students in Salem City will begin using a unique Web-Based tool this year. This free tool is Google Apps for Education. Google Apps for Education streamlines, organizes and promotes creativity of class work. All work done in Google Apps can be stored online and will be accessible from home, school, and anywhere there is an Internet connection. Participants will have access to a wide variety of collaborative tools including Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Google Sites. Students will use their assigned SCS computer account username and password to log into these tools. Faculty and staff will use their PowerSchool login information.
We will be using Google Apps for educational purposes and all
faculty, staff and students are expected to abide by the Salem City Schools
acceptable use policy. |
