Practice Healthy Habits to Stop the Spread of Germs!

  1. Wash hands frequently with soap and water for about 20 seconds.  That’s the time it takes to sing the “Happy Birthday” song twice.
  2. When soap and water are not available, alcohol based hand sanitizers may be used.
  3. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, throw the tissue away, and wash your hands.
  4. If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.
  5. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
  6. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  7. Stay home when you are sick.
  8. Practice other good health habits by getting plenty of sleep, maintaining a healthy diet, and exercising daily.
