Nurse's Corner with Mrs. Burek
Practice Healthy Habits to Stop the Spread of Germs!
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water for about 20 seconds. That’s the time it takes to sing the “Happy Birthday” song twice.
- When soap and water are not available, alcohol based hand sanitizers may be used.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, throw the tissue away, and wash your hands.
- If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Practice other good health habits by getting plenty of sleep, maintaining a healthy diet, and exercising daily.
