Lunch Time:
11:25 - 11:55
Students are responsible for keeping up with their own money.
You may purchase lunches by the week or month by sending a check to
our school cafeteria. Each student has their own lunch number
to track expenses. If you have a question about your personal
account, please contact the cafeteria. Teachers do not have
that information available to them.
Snack:
There will be a snack/break time during the day. You may
send a healthy snack for your child. The school sells ice
cream and healthy snacks for 50 cents. Please send the correct
change if you are purchasing the ice cream/healthy snack.
White West
Salem Folder: This folder will come home every day.
It is a very important folder. The folder will keep you informed and
help you monitor your child's progress. Please keep everything
in the folder unless otherwise noted. It is important to
clean out this folder on a daily basis. This will help keep
your child organized.
Assignment
Book: You need to initial/sign the homework book daily.
This way I know you have seen and monitored your child's daily
homework. This agenda book is also a great communication tool.

Transportation Changes: Any changes in transportation from
school must be made in writing or phoned into the office. The
office has to approve these changes. Please be sure to put my
name, date the note and include the bus number they will ride, if
possible. Please do not send an email if your child has a
transportation change. If I am absent or the server is
down, your request will not be seen and your child will follow the
regular transportation method.
Parties:
PTA will plan class parties. Our room mother will
coordinate the parties.
Birthday invitations cannot be handed out at school unless
there is an invitation for EVERY child in the class.
Please notify me if you are sending in treats for your child's
birthday. Also, follow the birthday guidelines we sent at the
beginning of the year (ex. purchase ice cream for the class or send
cookie/cupcake, napkins, juice box).
