A Room Tour of Our
Art Facilities

A room tour is a requirement for all students taking art classes.  Students must familiarize themselves with our equipment and where it all is in order to get the most out of their experience.  In order to not get too much out of their experience, such as a trip to the nurse, or worse, we also cover safety issues involved in each art class with each piece of equipment, or media used.  This is done as early in the course as possible.  Along with this we also require certain types of behavior in our classes due to the environment the students are surrounded by.  We have a form that parents and students will sign that informs students of the type of behaviors we expect in our classes.

As you follow our different rooms and the tours, you will see what types of equipment we have been blessed to have here at Salem, and what a great facility we have!

The art room. A gathering place where students go to create, feel at ease and relax before engaging in their chosen fields of study. A place to feel secure. A place they know where they will be accepted. Welcome to Our World
