Student Art Exhibition
The art department has a final show in the spring which coincides with the Desert with the Artists, Monday, April 23, 7:00 - 9:00. The Art show will be April 23, 24, 25 this year. All students involved in any art class are invited to display their work. Senior art students exhibit their senior show. IB Art and Design II students display their art from the two year intensive studio class. These students also are interviewed and evaluated during this time by an outside visiting examiner provided by International Baccalaureate. Following that show our students enter the ‘Area High School Art Show’ sponsored by the Arts Council of the Blue Ridge. This is a juried show with winners. Our students do very well with this show.
