Rules for Riding Bicycles

Third, fourth and fifth grade students must receive written permission from the principal prior to riding bicycles to school. The following rules apply to those students wishing to ride bicycles to school:

• Bicycles are parked in racks in back of the gym. Students are to come in the back door nearest the bike racks. The school is not responsible for bicycles left unsecured.
• Students should go to the gym and stay until the buses leave in the afternoon. At that time, students must leave the school grounds immediately.
• Students and parents must sign a permission form.
• Students must wear bicycle helmets for their safety.
• Failure to obey these rules and to use good safety when riding your bicycle will result in loss of bicycle riding privileges.
