Services are provided for those students who are in need of strengthening their reading skills. Intervention is a pull-out, small group model that meets five times weekly. Reading skills are enhanced through development of phonemic awareness, decoding (word attack), comprehension, vocabulary, questioning and thinking strategies as well as improving writing skills.
