PowerSchool Cybersecurity Incident Update

PowerSchool has begun notifying individuals whose information was affected.

As previously provided, PowerSchool has partnered with Experian, a trusted credit reporting agency, to offer complimentary identity protection and credit monitoring services to current and former students and educators whose information was accessed—regardless of whether a Social Security Number was involved. In the coming weeks, Experian (on behalf of PowerSchool) will send direct email notifications to impacted individuals (or their parent/guardian, as applicable) if sufficient contact information is available. PowerSchool has also set up a dedicated toll-free call center in collaboration with Experian.
